Description of the Examination

The College Mathematics examination covers a wide range of useful and interesting Mathematical topics, including Logic, Statistics and Set Theory as well as topics in Algebra and Geometry

The examination contains approximately 60 questions to be answered in 90 minutes.

Exam questions will be approximately in these proportions:

10%

Sets

10%

Logic

20%

Real Number System

20%

Functions and Their Graphs

25%

Probability and Statistics

15%

Additional Topics from Algebra and Geometry

There is a mixture of multiple choice and 'fill in' questions and you will have access to an online calculator.  About half the questions are straightforward and routine, but half will test your understanding of concepts (don't worry, you will have a great understanding of the concepts at the end of this course).

You can see the official exam syllabus here

Prerequisites of this Course

Students should have passed high school Math.

They will also need to be willing to work hard and to contribute to the team spirit of the class.
